So, while the Twitter mob assembled, I waited for more information. Sure, this meant I would have to pass up on thousands of retweets and likes, but that’s just how strong my moral courage is. Not all heroes wear capes. In reality, it eventually turned out that it was the Covington boys themselves who were the victims in the confrontation. They were in D.C. for a March for Life rally to support the pro-life position. While peacefully assembling, they were heckled by a group of Black Hebrew Israelites, who referred to them as “faggots” and “incest babies.”

But that kid went on stage and didn’t skip a beat! He was fantastic and we got a standing ovation! The choreography was touching and emotionally provoking. Many parents cried. Maxim loves to remind me of the memory and always asks, “When are we doing the next Autism’s Got Talent Show?” NOT ALL HEROES WEAR CAPES Legend is just one example of autism. Although he is showing success in some areas, I assure you that it came on the back of repeated attempts and never-ending practice. It took work. Attempts disguised as failure proved to be lessons on resilience and perseverance. There have been countless hours of therapy, starting with early intervention: developmental (DT), speech (ST), occupational (OT), food, equestrian, and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
Everything's Trash, but It's Okay

I snapped, and then I strutted, à la John Travolta at the beginning of Saturday Night Fever, back over to my girls, high-fived them, then took off my bikini top (making sure I was mostly behind my friends, of course). After a few minutes, the creeper left the pool. Moral of the story? Not all heroes wear capes because sometimes they’re topless and letting their chocolate buttons aka nipples roam free in mostly clean Las Vegas pool water.
